I'm inclined to agree. Using a random relocation scheme to get out of danger is one thing. Having the ability to appear in a specific location guns blazing (24 hours doesn't bother anyone) just doesn't seem right for the game. If someone want's to build up in a location that is one thing. Jumping from place to place however doesn't exactly fit with the Napoleonic theme.

I can see both sides to this arguement.

You should have to build up your logistics to feed and launch your army. But rebuilding cities is so boring and you likely have already done this many times. In order to avoid burnout and boredome maybe adv relocate needs to be tweaked.

Perhaps the middle road would be to make the inactivity period last one week instead of 24 hours. I can also see applying a cooldown period where either that city or even your entire empire cannot use another adv relocation for some time (one week, the same week if inactive period is extended), owing to the strain on moving of transporting everyone to the new locale.

Okay, now I have another suggestion entirely. Good job with the statistics, by the way.

One thing that could be added to them though, the ability to see troops that are out of your cities as well. This could start to over crowd them if it listed the out of city troops for each city, so I would suggest just having a cumulative "out of city" row, have it be like another city listed.

Default Something needs to be done to rebalance the game

This was a great game - unfortunately it has become completely unbalanced since the addition of the realms of power. We now have a few players racing round the map using hundreds of thousands of troops. the problem with this is that that can make their cities, towns, forts etc. unassailable whilst they can hit any weaker player at will.

I think you need to address the way the game works to make it more realistic to the era and ensure that the battles are balanced to reflect the real qualities of the troops of the era.

People using 150k hussars cannot be stopped yet no country in this era could have supported such troop numbers due to their expense. Also hussars, unsupported by other troops, could not remove infantry from the field of battle - the use of the fighting square by inf, grens, billmen and muskets would make these attacks fail. Traditionally Cav are only used in a battle of this era to try to turn the flanks of an enemy or to silence Cannons.

Something needs to be done to address the game play of the game before many players leave.

Here is an idea - how about the ability to force an enemy to occupy when they try to pillage to enable a weaker player to use their town defences on the enemy. would be a way to simulate the ability of a defender to prepare defences - as would have happened in the real world.

If something is not planned for change within the near future I, for one, will be leaving the game.

Default bayness this isn't reality it is a game

Lets expand further on the points bayness has made. Building a wall around a whole city during the napoleanic era in under an hour this should take months if not years. Musketeers that never miss and can be trained in minutes? People would again have to be trained for years and would still at times miss. In the napoleanic era messages would have to be sent from place to place by carrier so chat makes no sense you should have to mail other players and the time the mail takes to get there should be based on the distance between their cities. But alas this isn't real life its a game so things that couldn't have been possible at the time are possible. Lets be thankful of that because i for one would hate to have to wait 9 months for my population to rise by 1.

Default Kind of misses the point

The post is about balance in the game - not about reality so you kind of missed the point.

When someone can have so many troops that attacking them is impossible and defending against them for 99% of the players is impossible it makes the game unplayable.

Default missed the point

I guess i did miss the point because when you said "I think you need to address the way the game works to make it more realistic to the era" I was sure you were talking about the game being more realistic to the era. Sorry I misunderstood you.

Default Time Stamp the Chat

It would be greatly helpful if the chat was timestamped so we would know when a person requested something if we don't happen to be at the keyboard at the time it was received...nothing like replying to a request 2-4 hours old and is no longer needed.

A map! It would be nice to be able to see a full view of the map of states/dependencies somewhere in the game.

Being able to "exchange" items within our alliances would be helpful: such as jewelry and items.

More will come as I think about it more.

Post away button

I think that there should be a part of the game that allows us to go on holiday with out being attacked for a period of time i just want to know what you think about this idea.

I am aware that there is a thing that you can buy but i am looking for a free solution. Although i has to not be abused so that we can only use it twice per year or something like that . the descripton for the game is free forever and i would like to see this come into play

i would like to thank the game administrators for make a new part that will stop mutiny whilst being away.

p.s.
If anybody wants some help with the game i would like to help so just mail me i am the Big G on sever 5.
this is because i know the moderator are getting a lot of requests so i want to help.
